Dear members, partners, and friends of AFP-Montreal,
It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I begin this year as President of AFP-Montreal.
Our profession is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Technological advancements, economic uncertainty, new regulatory requirements, and constantly changing markets are transforming the role of treasury and finance professionals. More than ever, we must remain curious, agile, and connected in order to meet today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities.
In this context, AFP-Montreal plays an essential role by providing a space where professionals can learn, share their experiences, and build lasting relationships. Our mission remains clear: to foster professional development, encourage the sharing of best practices, and strengthen the ties that unite our financial community.
For the 2026–2027 season, our Board of Directors and volunteers have worked with passion to offer you a diverse and relevant programme. Through our conferences, panel discussions, networking activities, and special events, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities to engage with experts, discover new perspectives, and explore the issues shaping our industry.
Above all, AFP-Montreal is a community. A community of dedicated professionals who contribute to the advancement of our profession through their participation, expertise, and generosity. It is thanks to your involvement that our association continues to grow and remain a recognised voice within Quebec’s financial ecosystem.
I encourage you to take full advantage of the activities offered throughout this new season, to expand your network, share your knowledge, and contribute to the discussions that will help shape the future of our profession.
On behalf of the entire AFP-Montreal team, thank you for your trust and commitment. I very much look forward to meeting you and connecting with you throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Grace Largaespada President, AFP-Montreal
