The purpose of RLN would be to create a new shared ledger substrate for the sovereign currency system that is “always on,” “programmable,” and “multi-asset.” The network would deliver “on-chain” finality of settlement between the participating institutions in sovereign currencies and be compliant with all existing rules and regulations.
